Yesterday we received a crazy snow storm. I guess I shouldn't be suprised, it seems like when you finally get extremely bad spring fever, you get more snow. This year we actually had a record amout of snow fall. In 1 day we received over 2 feet of snow! I was absolutely crazy. Most of Fairfield was snowed in, so most businesses were closed. Even the mail didn't come. People were driving around in tractors and snowmobiles, because even the county employees were snowed in, which meant none of the roads were plowed. As you can see, most of the vehicals were buried. We were able to enjoy the snow today though. We still weren't able to get to town, but we did get the tractor out and plowed enough for us to get around the farm. The sun was out and there wasn't any wind, so it ended up being an absolutely beautiful day. I had to watch Reece's nephew, because Sasha couldn't get to the babysitter's due to the snow. The boys and I spent most of the day out sledding, making snowmen, and digging through the snow. It was an absolute blast, but it sure wore me out! The snow drifts were so deep, and you would sink completely into them with every step. The snow was extremely wet also, so we were completely wet immediately. It was definately worth it though. We had so much fun. Kayle even ended up with a sun burn on his face!
